Manager - GIS - IT Risk & Compliance

Principal Accountabilities - Assist in helping to continue to build the global GIS footprint in an operationally efficient manner across multiple disciplines by working collaboratively with other regional employees and managers across GIS and the Technology Division - Proactive identification of issues that could impact the successful execution of GIS- commitments - Provide oversight and guidance for and act as a coordination liaison for Bangalore GIS resources as the GIS team grows in Bangalore across IAM, Technology Risk & Compliance, Security Architecture, Delivery, Information Security Operations and Cyber Defense - Leadership and guidance in the development and subsequent execution of operational playbooks and Standard Operating Procedures as identified by/with the Director of Operations and Execution in support of each GIS Leader - Participate and contribute to GIS- strategy development and maintenance, ensuring local initiatives comply with and support continued progress against the strategy and enhancements to same - Execution of GIS Franchising playbooks - Help to develop and drive localized recruiting specific to Global Information Security, including hiring, staffing and maintaining of an effective workforce across the multiple disciplines that comprise GIS - Work with local education and public sector bodies to help build the local presence and awareness of the GIS team as well as helping to steer and guide the building of a pipeline of potential future candidates for all teams within GIS - Provide GIS cross-functional support for staff development and recurring processes such as annual planning, budget management, and staff performance feedback Reporting Structure : This is a key position responsible for representing each of the CISO's Leaders and providing direction and coordinating key GIS functions across the IAM, Technology Risk & Compliance, Security Architecture, Delivery, Information Security Operations and Cyber Defense Teams. As such, the position will report directly to the Bangalore Director of Software Engineering with functional (matrix) reporting to the GIS Director of Operations and Execution. Success in this role will require that the Manager be highly adept in multiple Information Security oriented technical and risk disciplines, and able to prioritize for them self and others based on their best judgement along with direction from the CISO and the CISO's Leaders for the most cohesive outcome aligned with the broader GIS Strategy. Essential Criteria : - Demonstrable and effective knowledge of multiple information security disciplines - Expert knowledge of information security issues, trends and leading practices - Highly-developed communications skills (written/verbal) and interpersonal savvy - Excellent problem solving and analytical skills - Results/action-oriented; willingness to work hard and take direction- but also creatively solve problems for which the answers aren't always obvious - Experience of collaborating with teams from multiple disciplines from within technology - Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple goals - Experience of working in a global environment and in a team with multiple stakeholders Desirable Criteria : - A Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant proven work experience - Practical experience of managing teams in an Information Security environment - Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP Qualifications : - Bachelors or Masters/Advanced Degree in an Information Technology related subject
