Job Description TITLE: Associate DevOps Engineer position DEPARTMENT: Information Technology PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Information Technology (IT) group maintains the IT assets and operations and enables and empowers employees to perform the various business activities on an ongoing basis. Geographically spread across multiple offices, the Information Technology group works seamlessly as a single unit to delivers services to the business on a 24X7 basis. The IT team is expanding its presence in India and we are looking at hiring Senior DevOps Engineer. ACCOUNTABILITIES Major Accountabilities (Duties may include but are not limited to) Fast learner, quality consciousness and committed to deadlines Candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work equally well in a team environment or independently Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and impart the training to fellow team members Further build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills Effective oral and written communication skills, communicate confidently via phone/emails with team members in various locations Flexible enough to stretch beyond normal office hours as and when required depending on the criticality of the issue, etc. or to meet any project deadlines. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (INCLUDING EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS) Bachelor's Level Degree 3 to 5 of relevant experience Min 3 Years of experience in Windows IIS support Should have good understanding of 3 tier application architecture Solid work experience on any incident management, problem management, change management tools Knowledge and solid experience on administering Windows Servers: 2000, 2003.2008 and 2012 In depth knowledge on servers/applications monitoring Thorough understanding and experience on administering IIS 5.0, IIS 6.0, IIS 7.0 and IIS 8.0 Should be actively supporting the deployment of .NET based Web applications on IIS servers Good experience in Load Balancing technology primarily F5/Big-IP Excellent troubleshooting skills in analyzing server and application logs, etc. CONDITIONS OF WORK The job holder will be required to work additional Hours and Rotations shifts, as necessary in order to fulfill the requirements of the role.
