Work closely with assigned customers in an effort to provide enterprise level solutions that meet customer requirements efficiently. Work with Solutions Architects to develop training, education, and selling strategies around respective technology verticals. Standardize Architectures by working with technology leader in the company to ensure consistency throughout the architecture department. Document current solution and develop roadmaps to migrate to strategy solutions. Proactively identifying issues and improvement opportunities. Partner with other technology leaders, business partners, and stakeholders to understand and identify business demand, priorities, issues, and strategies to help establish and define the right structure to meet the short-term and long-term needs. Develop business case and assess financial impacts of proposed solutions and lead the technical team on RFP/ RFI's. Directing resources to diagnose and resolve complex system, application software, security and related problems that impact system and availability. Support global organization as a storage converged infrastructure SME. Education Education: Btech/ MTech EMC Proven Professional certification required You bring knowledge expertise Required Experience At least 2 years architecting converged hyper-converged solutions, including but not limited to the following products: EMC VxRail, VxRack, VxBlock Storage/ Backup experience required 10+. Must exhibit expert level experience supporting VMAX, Unity, ECS, VNX, Avamar, Datadomain, Netapp, Viper, SRM, Controller Expert knowledge of industry standards and best practices as well as more general foundational knowledge such as ITIL, NIST, Agile development. Preferred years of Infrastructure Experience: 15+ Experience with Cisco storage switches Experience with Cloud Storage Experience with Scripting Proven experience in virtualization technologies (VMware) Cloud operations or architecture experience Experience with AWS, Azure Strong analytical and problem solving skills Highly motivated, goal driven self-starter with strong sense of ownership and accountability.
