Rewrite old Excel prog. using Excel/VBA

We have a legacy MS Excel that interfaces with Mathcad that we would like to completely rewrite within MS Excel potentially with the use of VBA. The program was written in 1996, so it is likely that the functionality currently resides within Excel to perform the required calculations.
Match columns in multiple excel files

I would like to match columns from a source file to multiple excel files.The macro/vba should output a new file showing all matches and any rows that do not match.
