Overview of the Role: A multi-faceted role requiring the individual to manage IT department as a whole which includes Software and Hardware independently This position is responsible for the delivery of operational support and maintenance of the companys infrastructure environment including Core Infra and Networks The position provides technical leadership regarding the development of infrastructure strategies and plans, mentoring of other team members and acting as an escalation point for incidents and requests Working closely with the management to understand business growth and ensuring capacity enhancements are done to match the business growth Making decisions and leading project management on all software initiatives This position will directly report to the Managing Director/SVP and will be a part of the core management The company plans to expand into another location, within Western India, through a second delivery center within the next twelve months Responsibilities: Building out IT Infrastructure (including conference system, telephones, Wi-Fi, storage, mobility) Setting up infrastructure, IT support in the upcoming facilities Ensuring hardware is maintained, and data is securing through proper back-ups and staff training Overseeing activities in the following areas: applications, network/ systems, database, and web development Optimizing and managing the internal ERP and CRM system which contributes to delivery of value to business aligned with best practices and standards- Software line Developing and maintaining overall framework of IT policies, standards, and strategies that will empower business and people to deliver on their commitments to the strategy and budgets As part of business continuity plan, ensuring that there is no failure in business operations and appropriate disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested for readiness for unforeseen and unexpected events which can impact the business continuity Having pivotal role in supporting the business departments and meeting their needs in a time bound manner Identifying security threats, formulating strategies and methods to mitigating the threats Developing long-term plans to sustain and support the business, anticipating the future trends Providing leadership initiatives in building in-house ERP systems Leading strategic insight and overview of business case justifications and ROI analysis for IT spending and initiatives Negotiating with vendors on behalf of the company to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions Prerequisites: Ability to act as a high-level subject manager expert and drive strategic direction Ability to adapt to changing business needs and drive innovative solutions Solid technical knowledge and experience in the use and application of the most current technologies and products used in the industry A mix of both strategic and technical IT experience Experience managing teams Working knowledge of networking technology (routers, firewalls, WAN/LAN security configuration), server configuration, IT security, and cloud software Expert with body of knowledge in SDLC and SaaS/Cloud based product development and support and can apply throughout the organization with understanding the business Education: BS/BE in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience MS in computer science preferable Experience: 8+ years of experience managing an Information Technology department in a medium to large size firm Compensation: Commensurate with industry standards Job Location: Anywhere in India Please refer to the Job description above
