Business Unit Overview EI (Enterprise Infrastructure) India started operations in 2004 to help our partners take advantage of the global capability in providing operational support using the follow the sun model. Today the team covers multiple technologies in remote infrastructure support covering production, engineering, application and database support. EI India plays a key role in global workforce augmentation and supports all the EI verticals, including 24X7 operations in some areas. The team s endeavour has been to provide increased value to our partners through operational excellence and innovation with a focus on stability. Role Description This position will be a key resource for Windows Infrastructure administration and support. This will include customer support, on call support, cross site coordination and troubleshooting. This position provides technical leadership and ensures that the windows infrastructure, customer service and support are provided in accordance with established service level agreements while ensuring standards are maintained. This position also participates in the planning and implementation of local and regional projects. Candidate Description To perform this job, an individual must meet the following criteria: Analyze and implement windows technology Install, configure, document, maintain and enhance a large multi- site production Windows Server Environment. Support Windows Server processes and procedures Optimize monitoring and reporting processes Focuses on process improvement and realizing operational efficiency Identifies and addresses security risks Modifies existing designs and project plans to meet infrastructure and business needs Participates appropriately in team meetings Participates in on- call support program Partners with business units to implement technology solutions Works with customers, vendors and other Fidelity teams to resolve Windows Server outages/ issues in a timely fashion Behavioural Attributes Excellent influencing skills, including ability to negotiate and execute strategies with peers and colleagues / partners across organizational boundaries Strong organizational and negotiation skills Demonstrate management skills and self motivated to achieve a successful outcome in a highly dynamic environment Excellent track record of fostering innovation and 'thinking out of the box'. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimum supervision Microsoft Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 and VMware Intel enterprise server level hardware (HP/ Compaq/ IBM/ Dell preferred) Microsoft Clustering technology VB and Power shell Scripting preferred but not mandatory Virtualization technologies, preferred knowledge on VMware ESX servers Good Interpersonal skills Good Communication skills, both written and verbal Bachelors or Masters in Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology. 2.5 - 4 years of IT experience
