Tourist pours to United Kingdom during Christmas celebrations from across the world to experience their culture and local celebration. Secondly, this also provides employment to local people who sell handmade items which tourists normally like to purchase. For an example, local people sell potteries, statues, or wall hangings nearby Taj Mahal in India, employs many from the state and which in turn adds to the GDP of the country.

In addition to that, it should be our moral responsibility to maintain the history of the country for the next generation. Help from the authority to the local artists could aid interest among other people as well. New Zealand Government partly funded the production of a locally made movie which emphasizes on their culture. Nevertheless, art and culture is also used for educational purpose for children where schools provide guided tours to local museums to explain them the history of the country. These fun filled learning activities would be missed if authorities do not spend some money in maintaining the museums.

In conclusion, it is not just the responsibility of the Government authority but also the local people of every country to help preserving the art and culture of their country.
